Senior Test Engineer – BMS (HiL Testing)

Location: Pune (Primary) | Bangalore (Secondary)

Experience: 5–6 Years (3–4 Years if strong)

Joining Preference: Immediate / Early Joiners

We are looking for experienced professionals with strong expertise in BMS HiL Testing, Automation, and Validation in the EV domain.

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

• Execute HiL test cases for BMS covering functional, safety & diagnostic requirements

• Operate and manage HiL rigs (ECU flashing, configuration, environment setup)

• Perform testing across scenarios: normal, fault injection, safety events & boundary conditions

• Validate BMS features: cell monitoring, current measurement, SOC/SOH/SOP, balancing & contactor logic

• Run automated & manual test suites and ensure proper execution

• Analyse logs, identify issues, and perform root cause analysis

• Raise & track defects in ALM/Jira tools

• Support regression testing, integration & release validation

• Collaborate with software, system & safety teams for issue resolution

• Maintain HiL rig health and support test automation improvements

🛠 Required Skills:

• Strong experience in HiL testing (dSPACE / NI platforms)

• Hands-on with ETAS INCA, Vector CANoe / CANalyzer / CANape

• Knowledge of automotive networks: CAN, LIN, FlexRay, A2B, MOST

• Experience in fault injection, diagnostics & validation

• Scripting knowledge: MATLAB / Python / C

• Understanding of AUTOSAR BSW & ECU systems

• Knowledge of ISO 26262 (Functional Safety)

• Strong debugging & analytical skills (RCA)

🎓 Qualifications:

• Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Automotive / Control Systems Engineering

• 5+ years of experience in automotive testing & validation

⭐ Good to Have:

• Experience with ControlDesk, AutomationDesk, vTESTstudio, LabVIEW, TestStand

• Knowledge of MBSE / requirements modelling

• Experience in EV / BMS system validation
