Vehicle Test Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate and detail‑oriented Vehicle Test Engineer to join our testing team in Sweden. The engineer will lead vehicle‑level testing activities, act as the primary onsite troubleshooter, and coordinate closely with offshore teams. This role requires strong system knowledge of complete vehicle functions and the ability to detect and analyse misbehaviors during testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute vehicle acceptance testing for complete vehicle functions.
• Perform vehicle software downloads and log extraction for analysis.
• Show attention to detail in detecting misbehaviours such as resets, sleep inconsistencies, and performance anomalies.
• Support other teams in analysing issues related to high‑performance nodes, VCU, and other ECUs.
• Conduct fault tracing and issue reproduction on Vehicle.
• Participate in vehicle expeditions when required (optional).

Mandatory Qualifications

• Valid European Driving License (Swedish license preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in ECE, EEE, or Automotive Electronics.

Technical Skills

• 6+ years of experience in System, Functional, and Vehicle Testing.
