What is your mission?

The mission of the DevOps Lead is to drive the evolution of our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and platform reliability. You’ll be responsible for building secure, scalable, and observable systems across our cloud stack and enabling faster, safer software delivery for our engineers. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in automation, enjoys solving operational bottlenecks, and can guide a team through complex cloud architecture decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure and Cloud Operations

• Design, maintain, and optimize cloud-native infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

• Manage and scale Kubernetes clusters (GKE) and Docker-based services

• Build secure, resilient infrastructure using Cloudflare, Delinea, and Qualys

CI/CD and Automation

• Own and improve the software delivery pipeline using GitLab CI/CD

• Implement release strategies such as blue/green, canary, and rollback automation

• Promote Infrastructure as Code and automation-first practices across environments

Observability and Reliability

• Lead the implementation of monitoring, alerting, and logging systems using Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and Cloud Logging

• Run performance and load testing using Grafana K6

• Drive incident response processes and improve system resilience through postmortems and root cause analysis

Security and Compliance

• Integrate security practices into infrastructure and pipelines, including vulnerability scanning with Qualys and secrets management with Delinea

• Collaborate with security and compliance teams to support ISO 27001, ISO 27701, SOC2, or similar frameworks

• Enforce cloud security best practices across deployments and environments

Who are we looking for?

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering roles

• Deep experience with AWS/Azure/Alicloud/GCP, Kubernetes (GKE), and Docker

• Proven ability to manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab

• Proficient with observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki)

• Strong grasp of cloud security, automation, and infrastructure design

• Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to lead and mentor others

• Familiarity with k9s, GCloud CLI, or similar tooling would be an added advantage

• Experience managing infrastructure for AI/ML or data-intensive workloads

• Knowledge of FinOps practices or infrastructure cost optimization.
