Solution Engineer, Supply Chain Application Delivery – Planning

The Planning Configuration Analyst needs to quickly understand complex APO-BI-o9 requirements and create appropriate solutions. They should have a thorough understanding of planning processes, including Order-to-Cash and Procurement touchpoints

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with ELC Solution/Technical Architects to grasp business requirements.
• Configure Demand and Supply planning solutions using APO, BI, and o9.
• Align with ELC Architects before developing and configuring solutions.
• Develop test scenarios and participate in testing new functionalities to prepare for Hypercare.
• Work on the technical design of data integration with ELC Architects.
• Design and automate the data loading process, ensuring intelligent checks and balances for sustained value delivery.
• Perform regression testing on all monthly/quarterly releases.

Experience Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in APO configuration and data structures for Demand and Supply Planning.
• At least 1 year of experience designing/testing non-SAP planning tools like o9.
• Deep understanding of data structures used for demand planning across various tools.
• Experience in using and validating data using Data Bricks
• Ability to lead the realignment and conversion of data between APO, o9, and other SAS-based applications, and develop KPIs/reporting for data integration.
• Expertise in DP structure, CVC creation, data handling in planning books, and technical knowledge of BW cubes and APO integration.
• Strong knowledge of BI as a key data integration tool.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience configuring and supporting SNP Heuristics, Deployment, and TLB.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting the CIF interface.

Functional & Technical Skills:

• Ability to work independently with the technical team, suggest BAPI and function modules, debug programs, and perform unit testing.
• Thorough knowledge of scheduling jobs through process chains.
• Deep understanding of Supply Planning function modules and technical objects.
• Support cutover and hyper care for all brands' Demand Planning go-live.
• Swiftly understand and resolve issues due to extensive experience and technical knowledge.
• Coordinate with Order Management, Finance, and Supply Planning teams to resolve issues promptly.
• Knowledge of databases (SQL Server, MySQL) and skills in languages like SQL, T-SQL, with knowledge of DDL, DML, stored procedures, triggers, and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Access/PowerPoint for analysis and presentation.
• Strong leadership abilities, demonstrating proficiency in both product and domain.
• Patient listener with the ability to clearly articulate viewpoints and manage business partner expectations, even under pressure.
• Ability to take complete ownership of solution builds and deliver solutions with minimal oversight.
