What The Role Entails

• System Monitoring and Maintenance: Ensure the stability and reliability of Tencent Cloud's PaaS products by continuously monitoring systems, resolving technical issues, and mitigating risks to maintain seamless operations.
• Architecture Optimization: Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize and upgrade product architecture, enhancing system performance and scalability through a deep understanding of cloud technologies.
• Automation and High-Availability: Implement automated operations and develop high-availability components, focusing on improving system efficiency and conducting high-availability drills.
• Tool and Platform Utilization: Utilize CI/CD pipelines, intelligent monitoring systems, and data analytics to enhance operational workflows, reduce costs, and eliminate inefficiencies.
  
  

Who We Look For

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in cloud operations, SRE, or platform engineering roles, preferably supporting large-scale public cloud or enterprise-grade platforms.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems with solid practical experience in technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, Nginx, Redis, Kafka, and MySQL.
• Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language, including Java, Go, Python, or Shell, with the ability to develop automation and operational tooling.
• Strong expertise in Linux systems, TCP/IP networking, and systematic troubleshooting of complex production issues.
• Experience with public cloud platforms is required; cloud certifications are a strong plus.
• Fluent in both English and Chinese Mandarin, with the ability to collaborate effectively with China-based stakeholders and operate in cross-border technical environments.
