What The Role Entails

Tencent Cloud is seeking an experienced and technically strong Senior Solution Architect to support our cloud business expansion in Singapore. This role plays a critical part in designing scalable, secure, and industry-aligned cloud architectures for enterprise customers across key sectors. You will work closely with sales, product, and engineering teams to translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions, ensuring seamless execution from pre-sales engagement through delivery. As a trusted technical advisor, you will also represent Tencent Cloud in industry engagements, strengthening our brand credibility and technical influence in the local market.

Responsibilities:

• Design and architect customized cloud solutions aligned with customer business objectives, ensuring scalability, security, and performance while driving successful implementation and delivery
• Engage closely with customers to understand technical requirements, industry regulations, and operational constraints, translating these into structured solution designs and actionable execution plans
• Act as the technical liaison between customers and backend engineering teams, clearly communicating requirements, monitoring milestones, mitigating risks, and ensuring on-time project delivery
• Support pre-sales activities including technical presentations, solution demonstrations, architecture workshops, and proof-of-concept initiatives to drive opportunity conversion
• Represent Tencent Cloud at industry forums, technical workshops, and ecosystem events, enhancing brand credibility and expanding technical influence in the Malaysian market

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in public cloud pre-sales or solution architecture roles, poreferably focused on Internet and Financial Services verticals
• Strong expertise in cloud computing technologies, particularly virtualization technologies such as KVM, Xen, or LxC
• Solid understanding of system architecture fundamentals with the ability to comprehend industry ecosystems and translate business needs into technical solutions
• Fluent in English and Mandarin in both written and spoken forms for effective communication with diverse stakeholders
• Proactive, responsible, execution-driven, with strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams
