P3 – Lead Software Engineer (Full Stack)
Role Overview
Trimble is seeking a
Lead Software Engineer (P3) to support the FedRAMP initiative. This role is a hands-on technical lead position focused on delivering secure, compliant, and high-quality software under tight timelines. You will lead feature-level execution, guide implementation best practices, and work closely with QA, Security, and Product teams to ensure FedRAMP readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design and development of full-stack web features using C#, ASP.NET Core, Angular, and SQL Server.
- Implement and enforce secure coding practices aligned with FedRAMP requirements.
- Own technical execution for assigned epics and ensure on-time delivery.
- Collaborate closely with QA and Security teams to remediate vulnerabilities and compliance findings.
- Participate in architecture and design discussions, providing practical implementation guidance.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor engineers on security, performance, and maintainability.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automation, and deployment readiness.
- Support troubleshooting, defect resolution, and production stability.

- Timely delivery of secure, FedRAMP-aligned features.
- Reduced security findings through proactive remediation.
- High-quality code with minimal rework.
- Effective technical guidance to the development team.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with C#, ASP.NET Core, Angular, SQL Server.
- Solid understanding of web application security and secure development practices.
- Experience with AWS and Azure skillset.
- Experience with enterprise-scale systems and complex business workflows.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows.
- Agile/Scrum experience.
- Strong communication and technical mentoring skills.
Experience
- 6–9 years of software development experience.
- Prior experience in a lead or senior engineer role.
- Experience in compliance-driven environments (FedRAMP, SOC2, ISO, etc.) is a strong plus.
