Job summary

The Performance Test Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, and executing performance testing for the bank’s customer-facing digital platforms—including Mobile Banking, Web Application, and Tablet interfaces. This role ensures that all digital channels can support expected and peak user loads with optimal performance, stability, and scalability.

Job description

• Prepare test summary report for project team review
• Review and recommend improvements to existing test procedures
• Develop performance test scripts and prepare environment for testing
• Conduct system performance testing to ensure system reliability, capacity and scalability using LoadRunner performance testing tool
• Understand business requirements to ensure any test cases are accurate and have necessary coverage
• Prepare of Test Data required
• Report testing results and creating of defects found
• Coach & guide QA specialist on test plan and strategy
• Manage regression test suite and test cases
• Execute the performance testing
• Review and prepare test cases, test condition, test data and expected results
• Analyze test results and coordinate with development teams for defects fix
• Analyze root causes of performance issues and provide corrective actions
• Analyze scalability, throughput and performance testing metrics against test servers
• Build and maintain performance testing strategy and framework

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or Master degree in Information Technology or other related fields
• At least 6-10 years experience in Mobile Internet Application testing, developer or related function
• Knowledge of banking products and Banking Industry and Finance
• Understanding of business process management of banking operation business and risk management of solution design.
• Agile & DevOps Automated Tools
• Performance Test (LoadRunner or JMeter or Postman or K6)
