Data Scientist

Data Scientist is responsible for collecting, analysing, and interpreting large datasets to help organizations make data-driven decisions. This role combines skills in Statistics, Machine Learning, Python R, and programming to uncover trends and build predictive models.

About the Role:

Experience - 6+ years.

Skills - DS, ML, Python R, AI and gen AI.

Location - Any UST location.

Notice – Immediate - 30 days’ notice would be preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Collect, clean, and preprocess structured and unstructured data
• Analyse large datasets to identify patterns and trends
• Build predictive models using Machine Learning techniques
• Develop data visualizations and dashboards
• Work with stakeholders to understand business problems
• Communicate findings through reports and presentations
• Deploy models into production environments
• Continuously improve data pipelines and model performance

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Statistics and probability
• Programming in Python or R
• Experience with libraries like TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, or Pandas
• Knowledge of SQL and databases
• Data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
• Understanding of Data Mining and feature engineering
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
