Full-Stack Development

Front End

Strong experience building applications using React.js

Experience With Flux / Redux Architecture (preferred)

Strong understanding of functional components and modern React patterns (Hooks)

Very good knowledge of modern JavaScript (ES6+)

Working knowledge of HTML and Bootstrap

Basic understanding of UI/UX principles

Backend

Practical development experience with Node.js and/or Ruby on Rails

Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs

Ability to debug and enhance existing backend services

Database

Experience working with PostgreSQL

Experience working with MongoDB

Understanding of relational and non-relational data models

Ability to write and optimise queries

DevOps & Production Environment

Experience working with CI/CD pipelines

Experience working with Docker-based containerised applications

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

System Development & Enhancement

Contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of existing full-stack applications (React / Node.js / Ruby on Rails / PostgreSQL / MongoDB)

Develop scalable, maintainable features within established architectural patterns

Translate defined functional requirements into clean, structured, and testable code

Demonstrate work-in-progress regularly and iterate based on feedback

Production Stability & Support

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues in live systems

Perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable fixes

Escalate risks or blockers appropriately when required

Data Integrity & Reporting

Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of application data

Support reliable reporting outputs used by QA and supporting teams

Validate database changes and logic to maintain system integrity

Engineering Standards & Delivery Discipline

Follow established engineering standards including testing, documentation, and version control

Contribute to structured CI/CD pipelines and release processes

Support containerised environments using Docker

Work within Kubernetes-based deployment environments

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

Work closely with Business Systems Analysis, Developers, Producers, and IT Support

Participate in agile ceremonies and structured development workflows

Identify opportunities to improve system performance, code quality, and development efficiency

Education Qualificaiton

Bachelor (B Tec)/Master degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience
