Role Description

Job Title: .NET Developer (Offshore)

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled .NET Developer to join our offshore development team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands on experience in .NET / .NET Core development, building and maintaining scalable, high quality applications in an Agile environment. The role involves close collaboration with onshore teams, business stakeholders, and QA to deliver reliable enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Application Development

Design, develop, and maintain applications using C, .NET Framework, and .NET Core

Develop RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Web API

Build and enhance backend components following coding standards and design patterns

Support full software development lifecycle (SDLC) including design, development, testing, and deployment

Database & Integration

Work with SQL Server for data access, queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning

Integrate applications with databases and external systems

Ensure data integrity, security, and performance

Testing & Quality

Write and execute unit tests

Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability

Fix defects and support integration and system testing activities

Agile & Offshore Collaboration

Work in an Agile/Scrum environment

Collaborate effectively with onshore teams across time zones

Participate in sprint planning, daily stand ups, reviews, and retrospectives

Maintain clear documentation and communicate progress, risks, and issues

Required Skills & Experience

Strong experience in C and .NET / .NET Core

Hands on experience with ASP.NET MVC / ASP.NET Web API

Experience working with SQL Server

Understanding of RESTful services and API integration

Familiarity with object oriented design and design patterns

Experience working in Agile environments

Good communication skills for offshore collaboration

Good to Have Skills

Experience with Azure or AWS

Knowledge of Entity Framework

Exposure to microservices architecture

Experience with CI/CD pipelines

Experience in healthcare or enterprise applications

Technology Stack Summary

Backend: C, .NET Framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Web API

Experience & Qualifications

3-8 years of experience in .NET development (based on band/role)

Strong problem solving and analytical skills

Ability to work independently in an offshore delivery model

Excellent collaboration and communication skills
