Lead II - Software Engineering

Role Description

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the architecture, design, and development of modern web applications using Node.js and React.

Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.

Drive best practices in code quality, testing, CI/CD, and DevOps.

Mentor and guide a team of engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and technical leadership.

Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.

Experience or has worked in Java technologies like Groovy.

Stay current with emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to complex problems.

Contribute to strategic planning, technical roadmaps, and architectural decisions.

Ensure adherence to software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

8 10 years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on Node.js and React.

Experience with RESTful APIs, Oracle or RDBMS, and microservices architecture.

Strong knowledge of front-end performance optimization and responsive design.

Proficiency in modern development tools and practices (Git, Docker, CI/CD pipelines).

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Experience with serverless architectures and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).

Familiarity with testing frameworks React Testing Library.
