Senior Java Backend Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in Java to design, build, and optimize scalable backend systems and APIs. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in cloud platforms, large-scale data processing, and microservices architecture, delivering high-performance and reliable applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and Python
• Build and optimize high-performance APIs for large-scale data processing systems
• Ensure system scalability, performance, and reliability
• Develop and deploy applications on cloud platforms (AWS)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver production-ready solutions
• Implement best practices for code quality, testing, and performance optimization

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in backend development
• Strong proficiency in Java, Python, and API development
• Experience in building scalable, data-driven applications
• Hands-on experience with cloud technologies (AWS)
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems
• Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and performance tuning

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Experience with frameworks like Spring Boot, Flask, or Fast
• APIFamiliarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
