We are looking for a motivated System Engineer to support the development of simulation and validation environments for ADAS/vehicle systems.
This role plays a key part in coordinating across multiple teams (Software, Simulation, Data) to ensure that system expectations are clearly defined, consistently understood, and correctly implemented.
You Will Be Involved In Simulation Activities Such As
- NCAP performance estimation and optimization
- Software testing in simulation environments (e.g., CARLA)
- Data-driven development loops (from data collection to scenario-based simulation using HIL / SIL)
Key Responsibilities
System Coordination & Communication
- Act as a connection point between System, Software, Simulation, and Data teams
- Help explain system requirements in a clear and simple way
- Make sure all teams share the same understanding (interfaces, assumptions, constraints)
- Follow up and help resolve gaps or misunderstandings early
Simulation & Validation Support
- Support the setup and use of simulation platforms:
- NCAP estimation environments
- Software-in-the-loop testing (e.g., CARLA-based simulation)
- Scenario-based validation workflows
- Help define test scenarios, and basic performance indicators (KPIs)
- Support comparison between simulation results and real vehicle behavior
- Support knowledge transfer on simulation concepts, methodologies, and execution to the System team
Data Loop Contribution
- Follow-up to the end-to-end data loop, including:
- Data collection,
- Data processing and filtering
- Auto-labeling pipeline coordination
- Conversion to simulation formats (e.g., OpenDRIVE, scenarios)
- Using data in HIL / SIL simulation environments
- Help ensure data is usable, consistent, and aligned with system needs
- Requirement & Interface Management
- Support definition and clarification of:
- What the system is expected to do
- How different tools/components interact
- Key assumptions and constraints
- Support linking between:
- System expectations
- Simulation implementation
- Validation results
- Support knowledge sharing and documentation across teams
- Process & Quality Assurance
- Help ensure smooth execution of simulation workflows
- Identify differences between expected behavior vs simulated results
- Support continuous improvement in tools, processes and workflows
Requirements Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in automotive engineering, Control Systems, Robotics, Computer Science or related field
Technical Skills (Basic to Intermediate)
- Basic understanding of vehicle systems / ADAS concepts (AEB, ACC, Lane Support Systems (LSS), Highway Assist (HWA), Automated Parking, etc.)
- Familiarity with simulation environments (basic knowledge is sufficient)
- Familiarity with at least one programming language: Python / MATLAB / C++
- Basic understanding of data processing workflows and scenario-based testing
Nice to Have (Not mandatory)
- Experience with simulation tools (e.g., CARLA)
- Knowledge of data labeling / perception datasets
- Basic understanding of scenario standards (e.g., OpenSCENARIO, OpenDRIVE)

- What You Will Learn
- End-to-end ADAS simulation and validation workflow
- How system requirements are translated into real test environments
- Cross-team collaboration in a complex engineering ecosystem
- Exposure to NCAP evaluation and scenario-based validation
- Ideal Candidate Profile
- Early-career engineer (0–3 years experience)
- Curious, structured, and eager to understand how everything connects
- Interested in both technical systems and coordination roles
- Enjoys understanding how different parts of a system work together
