Role: Data Analyst

Experience: 6 to 9 years

Work Mode: All 5 Days WFO

Work timings: 2pm to 11pm

Location: Chennai & Hyderabad

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst / BI Analyst with 6-7 years of experience, preferably in an offshore delivery model. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics, with expertise in Power BI, SQL, and data warehousing concepts. This role involves analyzing large datasets to derive actionable insights and effectively communicating findings to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
Utilize DAX and Power Query for data transformation and modeling.
Optimize SQL queries for performance and efficiency.
Design and implement complex data models using relational databases and star/snowflake schemas.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
Ensure adherence to data visualization best practices.
Conduct data quality assessments and troubleshoot data-related issues.

Mandatory Skills

Expert-level proficiency in SQL with a strong command over query optimization and performance tuning.
Extensive experience with Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
Strong understanding of relational databases, star/snowflake schemas, and data warehousing concepts.
Proven ability to handle large datasets and derive actionable insights.
Excellent problem-solving skills and strong stakeholder communication.

Preferred Skills

Experience with SQL visualization tools or logic trace/visual query analyzers.
Familiarity with data governance and data quality frameworks.
Knowledge of ETL processes and tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Relevant certifications in data analytics or business intelligence are a plus.
