Job Description

We are looking for a highly analytical Java Full Stack Developer to join our Consumer Banking Run The Engine (RTE) team. This role is dedicated to ensuring the resilience, scalability, and performance of our core banking platforms. You will be responsible for end-to-end incident analysis, performance tuning, and small-to-medium scale enhancements using Java 17, AWS, and a robust suite of monitoring tools including Splunk and Dynatrace. You will manage deployments across YBI/YRI environments using Jules/Jenkins pipelines.

Production Support & Incident Analysis (BAU): Serve as a technical expert in resolving production issues. Perform deep-dive root cause analysis (RCA) using Splunk for log aggregation and Dynatrace for application performance monitoring.

Application Maintenance: Develop and maintain Microservices and REST APIs built on Java 17. Ensure all APIs are well-documented via Swagger and rigorously tested using Postman or Bruno.

Full Stack Development: Update and optimize frontend components using JavaScript, jQuery, JSP, and CSS, while managing backend persistence with JPA/Hibernate and SQL.

CI/CD & Environment Management: Execute seamless code promotions through YBI (Integration) and YRI (Release) environments using Jules and Jenkins pipelines.

Infrastructure & Traffic Management: Troubleshoot connectivity and latency issues by understanding Load Balancer configurations (ALB/NLB/F5) and analyzing traffic distribution.

Linux & Cloud Operations: Perform server-side troubleshooting on Linux systems. Monitor and manage resources within the AWS cloud environment (EC2, S3, CloudWatch).

Security & Compliance: Maintain high security standards in a banking context using Spring Security, ensuring protection against OWASP vulnerabilities.

Logging & Observability: Enhance application telemetry using Log4j/SLF4J to ensure that production issues are caught and diagnosed early via Splunk dashboards.

Server Management: Configure and tune Tomcat servers for optimal performance and stability
