About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking Senior Software Engineer
Experienced in Java Full Stack Development, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) & Automation, Monitoring & Observability.
In This Role, You Will
- Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
- Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
- Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
- Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
- Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Software Development: Java, Python, SQL, bash or combination of other object oriented and scripting language(s)
- Automation: Ansible, Terraform, Amelia
- Java Full Stack - CSS, HTML, JavaScript, Angular/React JS, Spring boot, NodeJS,
- Database: Oracle, SQL, Mongo, Basic Data Modeling,
- OS and Platform: Azure, SQLMI, GCP, PCF, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Linux, Windows
- CI/CD: EPL/EPLX, Jenkins/GitHub Actions, SonarQube, Checkmarks, Blackduck, ServiceNow AVR, Artifactory
- Observability and AIOPS: Grafana, Prometheus, Elastic, Kibana, AppDynamics, Splunk
- Track record of creating innovative and complex automation solutions, a combination of tooling and code.
- AI/ML, GenAI: Tachyon, NotebookLM, Microsoft co-pilot, GitHub co-pilot, LLM Models.
- Design and deliver high-quality user interfaces for web and mobile platforms.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma.
- Ensure designs adhere to responsive and accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Collaborate with developers to implement design specifications accurately.
- Maintain and evolve design systems and component libraries.
- Participate in design reviews and present concepts to stakeholders.
- Stay current with UI/UX trends and best practices.
Job Expectations:
- Proficiency in Figma for wireframes, prototypes, and UI design.
- Strong knowledge of CSS (Flexbox, Grid) for layout implementation.
- Familiarity with HTML and front-end principles.
- Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience with design systems and component libraries.
- Ability to create intuitive, user-friendly interfaces aligned with UX best practices.
- Skilled in interaction design and micro-interactions.
- Strong understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Ability to collaborate with developers and communicate design specifications clearly.
- Excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to work in agile environments.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) for asset creation.
- Experience designing for multiple platforms (web, mobile, tablet).
- Experience using project management tools (e.g., Jira).
- Knowledge of JavaScript basics for better collaboration with developers.
- Experience with prototyping tools beyond Figma.
- Familiarity with user research and usability testing.
