Role: Java Developer (Apache Camel)

Experience- 5–7 years

Location- Navi Mumbai (On-site)

Role Overview:

• Focus on Java-based development with strong emphasis on integration and middleware
• Maintain, high-performance integration solutions using Apache Camel
• Operate as a crucial L2 Escalation Specialist within a High-Availability (HA) banking/fraud transaction environment, diagnosing and resolving complex routing and payload issues
• Enable seamless communication across enterprise systems and applications
• Work within microservices architecture and real-time data processing environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and optimize integration workflows using Java and Apache Camel
• Implement enterprise integration patterns (EIPs) for system connectivity
• Build and manage RESTful APIs and microservices
• Act as the bridge between core banking systems and fraud engines, ensuring critical SLA response times are met during production incidents
• Integrate multiple systems including databases and third-party applications
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with minimal downtime
• Participate in code reviews and ensure coding best practices
• Optimize application performance for high-volume data processing
• Perform rapid log analysis, payload inspection, and root-cause isolation for high-volume enterprise transaction failures.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• 5–7 years of hands-on experience in Java development
• Strong expertise in Java (Spring/Spring Boot) and Apache Camel
• Strong foundation in Data Structures, Algorithms, and Java Network Programming
• Good understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture
• Experience with messaging systems like Kafka, JMS, or similar
• Strong knowledge of enterprise integration patterns and distributed systems
• Exposure to SAS Business Orchestration Services (BOSS) (good to have)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience in L2/L3 production support or site reliability for high-volume, real-time financial or transaction systems.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments and handle multiple priorities
