General Information

Industrial Electronics Private Limited was established in 1986. We mainly specialise in the design, manufacture, supply and installation of high quality, technologically-advanced computer controlled electronic display products and solutions. With our many years of technical expertise, we have since branched out to support and distribute a host of other product solutions. These include Electronic LED Display Systems and Internal Surge Protection Devices.

Our mission is to provide our customers with products and solutions that closely reflect their needs at competitive prices.

In 1994, we undertook a full turnkey project involving the development and installation of an IEPL Smart Lecture Theatre System for Ngee Ann Polytechnic. A total of 2000 controllers were installed in 5 theatres. These units and the system provided the students with a unique interactive learning experience.

In the same year, another turnkey project was secured on the development and integration of a Passenger Information System for 6 MRT Stations in Woodlands New line, Raffles and Ang Mo Kio MRT Stations.

Between these projects, we continued to successfully secure and commission various projects involving electronic displays for various industries and organisations such as the integrated Queuing System for Singapore Telecom and Immigration Building, Production Information Display System for Motorola, Hewlett Packard, Carnaud MetalBox & Siemens. In 1997, we secured two large Stock Information Systems for Stock Exchange of Singapore and OCBC Securities.

In 2000, we fully developed and successfully installed its Flexi-Messager series for Bloomberg in its new office in Capital Square and Government Investment Corporation of Singapore in Capital Tower. This innovative system allowed for a live data source to “feed” information to a long ticker-type display. Able to be installed as a curved display, the Flexi-Messager has been transmitting stock exchange and financial information, Bloomberg news feeds, and Foreign Exchange information on several sites in the Southeast Asian region. We also achieved international exposure when Motorola used the Flexi-Messager for its booth at a Geneva exhibition.

We further built on our profile by developing and integrating systems for the cutting-edge technological pride of Singapore: Changi Airport. We were contracted to install over 76 electronic displays to greet visitors and residents of Singapore above the Immigration Counters. These multilingual displays presented messages in a variety of languages, including Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai, and English.

We eventually established ourselves as a strong contender in the Electronic Display and System Development industry. We are capable of customising, catering, and developing systems and products tailored to specific needs and also provide standard systems, displays, and solutions. In recognition of our abilities, JTC Corporation assigned us a project to supply and integrate a large number of Electronic Bulletin Boards at all lift lobbies located in their properties. These include Ayer Rajah Crescent, Woodlands Loop, Woodlands Link, Loyang Way, Kaki Bukit, Changi North Industrial Park, and Changi International Park.

Today, we continue to enjoy a strong reputation as a provider of quality electronic systems and devices to our core product and solutions base. We are also constantly on the search for other agencies and devices that will benefit our customers as the ideal technological partners and/or suppliers of choice
