In December of 2019, JoyRide first launched as a Motorcycle Taxi service as an answer to the call of commuters for a fast and safe alternative mode of transportation amidst the once monopolized industry. With the immense popularity, reliability, and affordability of JoyRide’s MC Taxi service, JoyRide was able to garner over 1,000,000 downloads in just less than three months and remained top of the app charts for consecutive weeks during its pilot run. 

Seeing the opportunity, JoyRide quickly transitioned to be a superapp with various other offerings aside from its motorcycle taxi services such as JoyRide Delivery (motorcycle delivery), JoyRide Pabili (buy-for-me service), JoyRide Taxicle (tricycle ride-hailing), JR Pay (e-wallet), JR Mall (an online marketplace for food, groceries, lifestyle and essential items), and Happy Move (2W and 4W delivery for business).

With over 20,000 trained and fully-vetted driver-partners, JoyRide continues to offer users fast, reliable, and affordable on-demand services through its powerful superapp. 

Currently, JoyRide is available in Metro Manila, Rizal, Cavite, Bulacan, Laguna, Metro Cebu, and soon, Baguio City.
