General Information

LONGi is a world leading manufacturer of monocrystalline solar photovoltaic products. In year 2016, LONGi deploited an international expansion strategy by establishing a manufacturing facility in Sarawak, Malaysia as its very first operation base outside of China.

Within three (3) years of operation, the Malaysian base has assertively instituted two (2) manufacturing companies, namely: LONGi (Kuching) Sdn Bhd and LONGi Technology (Kuching) Sdn Bhd.

LONGi (Kuching) Sdn Bhd was established in year 2016. It currently has 550MW solar ingot, 550MW solar wafer and 900MW solar cell annual production capacity.  Whereas LONGi Technology (Kuching) Sdn Bhd, which was established later in year 2018, provides an additional 3,200MW cell production capacity since year 2020. Solar cell will continue to be our niche product; by year 2022, the combined cell production capacity will increase to 6,900MW, projected to become the largest solar cell manufacturing base in Malaysia. Both Kuching operations export to various parts of the world.
