Its core services include Warehousing, Inventory Management, Customer Order Processing, Picking-Packing, Delivery, Invoicing and Payment Collection. Operating under a Good Distribution Practice (GDP) license issued by the Health Science Authority of Singapore (HSA), key processes are already in place to ensure accuracy and traceability of the products that are being fulfilled to all the customers. The company uses SAP Business One as the core enterprise system which was only implemented earlier this year. With it, MLS is able to customize various processes and reports to your business needs. Flexibility can be achieved without compromising on the healthcare regulatory requirements.

MLS’s current customer drop points include all hospitals, polyclinics and major specialist clinics. Over the last couple of months, it has expanded to home care patients due to business growth and requirements. From scheduled to urgent deliveries, the goal is to ensure that they are fulfilled in a timely manner without any delay. Located in a centre location in Tai Seng, urgent request can be met within 2 hours to all parts of Singapore. In terms of delivery solutions, besides owning a fleet of vehicles, the company also engaged an outsourced partner to ensure that the last mile delivery is always completed within the stipulated timeframe looking into utilising systems and automation to improve on efficiencies and accuracies.some of the notable add-on systems include the Warehouse Management Scanning System and the Vehicle Tracking system. Another web-based order tracking portal is already in the pipeline to offer greater visibility and convenience for internal and external personnel.
