Xinterra is a materials centric company unlocking innovation towards accelerating and increasing the efficiency of materials research and development. Building upon decades of materials experience, we innovate new materials that are essential for sustainable products and applications.

We offer accelerated and efficient materials development as a service, to startups at any stage, and also to established small, medium, and large companies. We develop real materials with our customers’ target application in mind, matching their target product profiles, be them incremental formulations or breakthrough materials.

Seeking or maintaining the competitive edge requires constant and rapid innovation. However, innovating established protocols and process recipes is too slow with standard approaches, typically requiring decades of experimentation. With our Xinterra Design FactoryTM (XDF), we change the status quo. Since we explore faster, and we discover quicker, we help companies to realize a new world of materials, developing real materials for commercialization.

Our Xinterra Design FactoryTM is built upon deep domain knowledge in materials science, combined with a unique artificial intelligence system and custom-made high throughput experimentation tools. Our platform is able to either draw actionable intelligence from established protocols, or build something completely new from the ground up, in order to leap-frog the state-of-the-art.
