Multimodal Gen AI Data Scientist

We are seeking a highly experienced Data Scientist in Multimodal Foundation Models (FM) and Generative AI to join our team in Singapore.

As a Multimodal FM Data Scientist, you will be responsible for designing, architecting, customizing, optimizing, and distilling Multimodal FMs and Generative AI solutions for the Aicadium product family, and projects that combine image, video, language, etc., for industry.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python coding, extensive experience in data science (DS), ML, and AI, and the ability to solve complex problems independently.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize proven hands-on experience with Foundation Models to design, architect, train or fine-tune, and customize models for vision and language projects.
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements and SOTA in ML, AI, and DS. Implement and customize SOTA multimodal solutions for Generative AI and related applications.
• Apply your expertise in ML for CV, including working with images, 3D data, video, VR/AR, multimodal data, and sensor fusion.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy innovative solutions.
• Independently think, problem-solve, and drive research and development initiatives.

Requirements:

• Proven hands-on experience with multi-modal architectures, including design, training, and customization for vision and language projects.
• Demonstrable experience with ML for CV, encompassing images, 3D data, video, VR/AR, multimodal data, and sensor fusion.
• Strong knowledge of recent model architectures and optimization approaches for large FMs.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in DS, ML AI, and Python coding.
• Ability to think independently and solve complex problems effectively.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to present research findings and model performance to stakeholders and at scientific conferences or customers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights.
• This hybrid role requires you to be in the office regularly to collaborate and problem-solve with your team.

Good to Have:

• MSc or PhD in a quantitative field (STEM+).
• Patents and publications related to ML/AI, CV, NLP, computer science, computational neuroscience, and/or robotics.
• Industry experience in applying FMs in real-world projects.
