Description

We are looking for a Manila-based QA/QC Engineer with experience working on mobile products. Our perfect candidate is passionate about creating an excellent mobile experience and loves to hunt down bugs. Key Responsibilities

Manual pre-release testing for iOS and Android apps and prepare reports
Monitor reports from the Support team. Log tickets based on information from users
Execute performance, usability, and compatibility testing for mobile apps
Participate in internal meetings
Run manual tests for refactoring tickets

Requirements

This is an onsite role. Only candidates based in Manila and authorized to work in the Philippines without the need for a work permit or visa sponsorship will be considered.

Hands-on experience testing mobile applications using manual testing methods for both iOS and Android devices
Ability to isolate defects efficiently, as well as provide specific conditions for reproducibility
Experience with Android and iOS debug tools, including the ability to work with logs
A good understanding of software, specifically mobile product lifecycle
Team player with the ability to work with minimal supervision
Sharp attention to detail and extreme desire to learn

Top Skills

2+ years of manual testing experience (iOS, Android apps)
Confluence/Jira
Experience with social mobile apps
Charles/API testing
