Must Have Experience 5-9 years As a Test Engineer

Role

To help us define, design and execute a detailed Testing for a complex distributed Pricing platform with multiple integrations, interacts and third-party systems. Role is for a Test Engineer who is very good at understanding the E2E flow of any system and design tests & data accordingly. Good analytical skills are required. This role also involves communicating to multiple parties for system understanding and gathering details hence clear & precis communication is must.

Objective:

Understand key functional requirements which covers system flows End to End.
Design & define test cases from Customer Journey perspective.
Execute & Automate test cases.
Define Test Plans & Test Data strategy.

Technical Skills:

Through understanding on Microservices Architecture & Complex distributed systems and how to test such systems.

Clear understanding on different levels, type & kinds of testing ex Integration, System, Unit, E2E and their applicability.

Hands on experience in Java with Proficient level (Java is preferred OR any other programming language).

Hands on Test Automation experience on Testing UI Applications using Selenium.

Hands on Test Automation experience on API using Karate, Rest Assured.

Hands on Manual Testing experience.

Experience in mocking or stubbing and relevant tools.

Understanding of gRPC services and knowledge on how to test gRPC.

Understanding of message queues, service level orchestration.

Should understand inflow & outflow of Data between different systems and data delivery mechanisms.

Hands-on experience on BDD tools like Cucumber-Gherkin or JBehave.

Should understand and preferably experience on testing Data heavy applications which involves ingesting data from different sources, validation and applicability of data.

Experience in creating Test Data if needed.

Candidate should be actively involved in Requirement Understanding, designing & executing Test Cases (Manual, Automation) in current role.

Experience in CI/CD and implementing Test Cycles in CI/CD.

Following skillset is required:

Education: BE Computer Science, IT

Project Methodology: Agile, Waterfall

Test Development Methodology: BDD

SCM – Git, Github

Programming Language: Java or any other programming language (Skill Level: Proficient).

UI Automation: Selenium

API: Karate, Rest Assured

CICD, DevOps: Azure, Jenkins

Domain Knowledge (Good to Have): 1) Financial Markets. 2) Understanding of Financial Instruments, 3) Derivatives Trade Life Cycle & Pricing, 4) EOD Risk, Real-Time Risk, XVA, VAR
