Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

On first day we expect you to have the following

• 8+ years of experience as a data engineer or software engineer
• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
• Hands on programming experience in either Python, Java or Scala
• Hands on experience in building data pipelines using GCP (Data Flow, Pub Sub, Big Query and others) or Azure (Data Factory, Data bricks, SQL Server, Synapse and others)
• Hands on experience in building Data API’s (Micro services)
• Hands on experience in writing SQL (No- SQL is a big plus)
• Hands on experience with data pipeline orchestration tools such as Airflow/GCP Composer
• Experience with application development using CI/CD with exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, PCF, Jenkins, Ansible, Puppet, Terraform etc
• Hands on experience on Data Modelling
• Experience in leading teams with diversity
• Some of the preferred, but not mandatory skills are
• Aviation domain experience
• Experience building self-service tooling and platforms
• Contributed to open source projects (Ex: Operators in Airflow)
• Certified cloud engineer certification (either GCP or Azure)
  
  
  

Typical Education & Experience:

Typically, 8 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

This position does offer relocation within INDIA.
