Job Summary

As a Software Engineer II, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing secure software solutions to protect our systems and data.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Design, develop, and maintain secure software applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and implement security measures.
• Conduct code reviews and perform vulnerability assessments to identify and address security vulnerabilities.
• Contribute to the development of scalable and efficient back-end solutions tailored to our projects
• Assist in designing and maintaining database architectures, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity.
• Collaborate closely with the front-end development team to create and maintain RESTful APIs.
• Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code adhering to coding standards.
• Investigate and resolve bugs and issues reported by the testing and QA teams.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, to deliver integrated solutions.
• Participate in and learn from code reviews to enhance coding skills and maintain code quality.
• Contribute to technical documentation for knowledge transfer and maintaining project documentation.
  
  

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of Cybersecurity principles, practices, and standards
• Experience in developing secure software applications and implementing security measures
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in back-end development.
• Proficient in Python and relevant frameworks (FastAPI, Django, Flask, etc.)
• Familiarity with database technologies such as PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Experience with RESTful API development.
• Familiarity with Cloud technologies (Azure, AWS etc)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
