About The Role

We are seeking a skilled iOS Developer with a focus on IoT applications to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in iOS development and a strong background in IoT and BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) technologies. You will be responsible for developing innovative IoT applications for iOS devices, ensuring seamless integration with various IoT devices and BLE peripherals.

Key Responsibilities

Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform, specifically focusing on IoT functionalities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Integrate and manage IoT devices and BLE peripherals within iOS applications.
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications through rigorous testing and optimization.
Work with outside data sources and APIs to integrate IoT data into applications.
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency and application

performance.

Troubleshoot and debug issues related to IoT connectivity and BLE communications.
Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in IoT and mobile application development.

Required Skills

iOS Development: Extensive experience in developing iOS applications using Swift and/or Objective-C.
IoT Integration: Strong experience with IoT technologies and protocols, including MQTT, CoAP, and HTTP/HTTPS.
BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy): Proficiency in developing and managing BLE connections, services, and characteristics.
RESTful APIs: Experience with integrating RESTful APIs and handling JSON data.
Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug and optimize code for performance.
Version Control: Proficiency with version control systems such as Git.
UI/UX Design: Ability to design and implement user interfaces that provide a seamless and intuitive user experience.

Additional Skills

Experience with cloud services and platforms related to IoT, such as AWS IoT, Azure IoT, or Google Cloud IoT.
Knowledge of security best practices for IoT applications.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
4+ years of professional experience in iOS application development.
Proven experience in developing IoT applications and managing BLE peripherals.
