Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience in software development developing in C/C++.
• 1 year of experience in software development on linux.
  
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5 years of experience in software development developing in C/C++.
• 3 years of experience, including development, testing, and deployment for Android BSP, Linux device drivers, Linux kernel modules, or FreeRTOS drivers/modules.
• Experience in either kernel development, display/graphic driver/HAL, or peripheral drivers on Android systems.
• Excellent technical documentation and communication skills in both Mandarin and English.

The Pixel Watch System Software team designs and builds premium wearable devices and services that showcase the potential of the Android and WearOS platform. This team is driven to revolutionize the way people interact with newer and smarter devices with Android and WearOS platforms. You will develop the system software stack for future smarter wearable devices, ranging from architecting, designing, developing, testing, and deploying complex wearable consumer devices.Google's mission is to organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful. Our Devices & Services team combines the best of Google AI, Software, and Hardware to create radically helpful experiences for users. We research, design, and develop new technologies and hardware to make our user's interaction with computing faster, seamless, and more powerful. Whether finding new ways to capture and sense the world around us, advancing form factors, or improving interaction methods, the Devices & Services team is making people's lives better through technology.

Responsibilities

• Develop the software stack for embedded devices.
• Work on SOC to perform low-level system integration and driver development.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain the software on embedded devices and improve software quality.
• Develop validation tools and test cases to verify hardware/software functionality.
