As an Intel Flex Software engineer, you will have opportunity to move between projects in various product groups to gain experience, learn new skills and grow your cross organization professional network while making high-value contributions across the company. The qualified candidate will join Intel Flex India as a Cloud Software development Engineer and will have opportunities to participate in a variety of projects as part of product development or research. As a Cloud Software Development Engineer, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and implementing cloud-based applications and services. You will play a pivotal role in our engineering team, contributing to the architecture and evolution of our cloud platforms. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and deploy scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on the cloud. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features and services. Implement automation tools and frameworks for automatic code deployment and management. Ensure the quality of architecture and design of systems through code reviews and mentorship. Conduct systems analysis and recommend changes to policies and procedures to improve efficiency. Stay abreast of emerging cloud technologies and apply best practices to our cloud strategy. Lead and mentor junior engineers, fostering an environment of continuous learning and growth.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in software development with a strong emphasis on cloud computing. Proficient in multiple programming languages such as GO, Python, C#, or similar. Deep understanding of cloud architecture and application deployment models. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Exceptional communication and leadership skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cloud service providers, preferably AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
