System Engineer Specialist

Job Description

• Manager and monitor all installed Server systems and infrastructure
• Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
• Productively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
• Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes
• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
• Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks
• Participate in the design of information and operational support systems
• Write and update technical documentation, documenting system configurations, operating procedures, and troubleshooting methods
• Participate in server project planning and implementation, driving server technology updates and upgrades

Qualification;

• Bachelor or Master degree or higher in computer engineer, computer science-related field
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in server management and maintenance, familiar with operating systems such as Windows Server and Linux VMware, Nutanix and Tech HCI
• Familiar with network technology and security protection, understanding protocols such as AD, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP etc
• Familiar with common server hardware devices and storage technologies, such as RAID, SAN, etc.
• Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting Windows /Linux based/Web Service environments
• Strong problem analysis and solving skills, capable of independently handling server faults and performance issues
• Team player with good communication skills, able to coordinate work with the development team and other departments
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), CompTIA Server+, etc., are preferred
