Use Go, SQL, and Svelte to turn smartphones into ATMs 🤑

Over 200 million blue collar employees across Southeast Asia say that finances are a chief cause of their stress, and over 70% of these individuals admit that they do not have the financial tools required to help them overcome this.

Our company, Payd, turns smartphones into ATMs as we connect to payroll systems of employers to give employees access to their wages via our app before payday.

Tech

Our backend is written in Go and we thrive on Postgres SQL. You must have a good grasp of SQL and be able to construct queries directly without the use of an ORM. Our frontend uses Svelte, CSS (no tailwind), and Typescript.

Don’t worry if you’re more familiar with other languages or frameworks so long as you’re keen on learning we can help you get up to speed.

Opportunity

Learn and experience the full product and engineering lifecycle multiple times a month as we iterate on new products and services. You will have the chance to take ownership and see through the whole process from design and development through to analysis and maintenance.
