Own It

Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality backend Java applications that are performant, reliable, and scalable.
Implement and maintain ESB solutions to facilitate seamless integration between various systems and applications.
Develop and optimize ETL processes to ensure efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading.
Utilize Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP) to design and implement efficient integration solutions between different applications and services.
Familiarity with EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) protocols and standards to enable smooth communication with external partners and systems.
Conduct code reviews, offer constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers to maintain code quality and best practices.

Build Trust

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solutions.
Conduct internal walkthrough of software design, analysis with internal stakeholders.

One Team

Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Contribute to the improvement of development workflows and coding practices.

Communicate with Internal shareholders on project status, deliverables, and overall project plans.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Java backend development.
Proficiency in Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate).
Strong understanding of Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) concepts and practical experience in implementing ESB solutions.
In-depth knowledge of Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes and experience in building ETL pipelines.
Familiarity with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and related protocols and standards is a plus.
Experience with Apache Camel or similar integration frameworks is highly desirable.
Solid understanding of database design and optimization techniques (SQL and NoSQL databases).
Familiarity with containerization and cloud technologies is a plus (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS etc.).
Proven track record of delivering high-quality, maintainable code on schedule.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English, both written and verbal.
