About The Team
Our NDRE (Network Development and Reliability Engineering) team is responsible for the network infrastructure of Shopee and Seamoney. Our mission is to maintain and enhance the stability, availability, and manageability of the network infrastructure. We achieve this by developing software and standard processes to manage and monitor these network systems.
Job Description
- Responsible for monitoring Shopee & Seamoneyโs backbone network, data center network, and related networks. Ensure the rapid detection, notification, location, and resolution of network faults to maintain application stability and availability.
- Propose and implement standard designs and optimizations for network architecture.
- Enhance visibility of network infrastructure by participating in and refining standard processes. Collect and establish databases for network devices, links, and configurations. Set up accurate and automated network alerts and notifications using software tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or higher degree
- At least 3 years of relevant experience
- Familiar with OSPF, BGP, ISIS, MPLS VPN / TE, QoS, IPsec, and other typical network protocols.
- Familiar with Cisco, Arista, Huawei, or other mainstream network vendors' product technology and product architecture.
- Expertise in network DevOps systems, including network configuration management, IP Address Management (IPAM), and monitoring tools like PingMesh.
- Experience in ensuring network reliability for large-scale data centers.
- Good communication skills and an effective team player, able to adapt to a diversified working environment.
- Well-versed in English (spoken and written).
- Hands-on experience with at least one of the script languages: Python, and Shell.
The Skills Below Are Optional But Preferable
- Experience in traffic analysis and network risk management.
- Familiar and hands-on experience in Palo Alto, Fortinet, or ASA firewall.
- Having a Cisco, Huawei's advanced certificate is a bonus
- Large ISP Network Tech Ops experience is preferred
