As a Senior Infrastructure and Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing our infrastructure and cloud solutions. Your expertise will ensure our systems are robust, scalable, and efficient, leveraging technologies such as Nginx, Apigee, Kubernetes, Anthos, and bare metal environments across multi-cloud platforms like GCP and AWS. You will also integrate DevOps practices, SRE principles, and advanced monitoring solutions to drive our infrastructure strategy forward.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure solutions using Nginx, Apigee, Kubernetes, Anthos, and bare metal environments.

• Architect multi-cloud solutions leveraging GCP and AWS to optimize performance, cost, and reliability.
• Implement and advocate for DevOps best practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Embed Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles into the architecture to enhance system reliability and performance.
• Deploy and manage monitoring and logging tools such as Dynatrace, Prometheus, and Grafana to ensure visibility into system performance and health.
• Analyze system metrics to proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and reliability issues.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions and architectural designs.
• Conduct feasibility studies and proof of concepts (PoCs) to validate solution approaches and technologies.
• Ensure all infrastructure solutions comply with industry security standards and best practices.
• Conduct regular security assessments and implement measures to mitigate risks.
• Work closely with development, operations, and product teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, cloud computing, or related roles.
• Proven experience with Nginx, Apigee, Kubernetes, Anthos, and bare metal environments.
• Extensive experience with GCP and AWS.
  
  

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of DevOps practices and SRE principles.
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
• Expertise in monitoring and logging tools such as Dynatrace, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Solid scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, or similar languages.

• Strong leadership and team collaboration abilities.
• Exceptional communication skills to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
