Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • As Platform Product Manager and Individual Contributor, you are responsible for the agile release train (ART) "Guide", which includes the application software platform for our angiography systems (floor-, ceiling-mounted and biplane systems)
  • You will be responsible for analyzing markets, industry trends and our competitors
  • Through contact with customers and internal stakeholders, you ensure that customer needs are integrated into roadmaps and solutions
  • You will act as the key interface for SHS AT PPM towards understanding local Interventional angiography market (India) needs for floor, ceiling-mounted and biplane systems
  • You define and continuously update the product roadmap of your area of responsibility to drive implementation in close collaboration with the R&D teams
  • You are responsible for the Application Software Platform Functionalities, and you manage and prioritize the ART Guide backlog in coordination with our Solution Manager and other stakeholders (R&D, Customer Service, Clinical Segments, Quality) to ensure that it reflects the current needs of our customers and our business
  • You are responsible for the definition of “User Needs” and “Stakeholder requirements” and the execution of system tests (Validation)
  • You will participate in Change Control Board meetings meant for defect processing and enable decision making by bringing in “Customer” perspective
  • You are responsible to meet business goals (quality, functionality/ content, target costing)
  • You participate in solution level meetings on behalf of your ART Product Owners.
  • You communicate overall ART status and risks, esp. concerning value delivery
  • You participate in meetings along with other ART Product Managers and discuss cross ART topics and priorities
  • You work in close collaboration with Solution Manager, Solution Architects, ART Architect, EPIC Engineers (of EPICS where your ART is responsible for full or partial implementation of a EPIC), Product Owners of scrum teams in your ART, Product Manager of other ARTs, Project Management, Risk Managers, Risk Engineers, RTE of your ART and System Engineers contributing to your ART.

Your qualifications and experience:

  • You have a Master's degree in a scientific/technical or business administration field or in medicine
  • You have many years of professional experience in one of the areas of portfolio management, product management, product training or sales
  • You know the challenges and needs of our customers and are familiar with the processes in an intervention room / operating room
  • You have knowledge of medical devices (angiography solutions) and their clinical application (angiography, image-guided minimally invasive therapy)
  • You have business knowledge and experience in analyzing business cases
  • You have experience with requirements engineering and system testing
  • You have knowledge and experience in lean management or agile hardware and software development, ideally according to the SAFe framework
