Senior Software Engineer (Front End)

Role Description

This is a contract remote role for a Senior Front End #SeniorFrontEnd Engineer at XYZ GOAT.

As a part of the Product team, we will help our Japanese startups in eSports, AI, and Blockchain.

Responsibilities

• Driving forward Web development for our products.
• Helping to support and extend the core platform
• Implement Front-End infrastructure components.
• Design new web-services
• Create unit tests and integration tests to ensure quality.

Qualifications

Required Skills: 5+ years of working experience as Front Engineer (Do not include any internship as working experience)

• Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, and modern encryption algorithms in general
• Must have Skills in React.js ( Next.js skills, plus point) 
• Proficiency in HTML and CSSProficiency in JavaScript/J QueryExperience of responsive JavaScript and CSS frameworks, such as React.js
• Experience with Node.js, npm, Webpack.
• Familiarity with Testing/Debugging tools.
• Should be able to setup, create, and maintain unit tests and integration/functional tests.
• Fluent in English (note: pull requests are expected to be written in English)

Bonus if you have

• Experience with ReactNative, Swift or Kotlin
• Contributions to or active participation in the OSS community.
• Experience in the development and operations of large-scale web services

• 5+ years of working experience as a Front Engineer
• Must have Skills of Go
• Candidate must have 1+ years of working experience as a Senior, Lead, or Principal Software Engineer in Traveloka, Tokopedia, Gojek, Bukalapak, Grab, Blibli, Shopee, Tiketcom, Garena, OVO, DANA, and Ajaib.

Important NOTE as follows:

• Must be living in #Indonesia (Indonesian citizens and not other nationalities)
• Have high English skills
• Must be able to contribute 25+ hours per week
• We require NOT include Engineers who are in the following conditions:
• Need to commute to office 3+ times per week
• Need almost 2 hours to commute to the office
