EPAM Vietnam is seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Platform Engineer on AWS Platform with Python to join our dynamic team. You'll leverage your expertise in AWS and Python to design and build next-generation services for a leading insurance company in the APAC region. These services will integrate seamlessly into their ecosystem of external partners. What You’ll Do

Design, develop and maintain applications using Python as the primary programming language and leverage the power of AWS services
Utilize the AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK) for infrastructure provisioning and management
Develop serverless applications using AWS Lambda and implement event-based architectures using SQS, SNS, and the Fan-Out pattern
Work with Amazon DynamoDB for data storage and retrieval
Implement APIs and integrate with various systems using API Gateway, ensuring secure authentication with OAuth and Auth0 frameworks

What You Have

At least 5 years of experience in developing and designing modern applications in Python and 3+ years of experience in AWS
Experience with AWS tech stacks: Serverless – Lambdas; SQS, SNS, Fan Out pattern, DynamoDB, API Gateway, CDK, Constructs, IAM and VPC
Proficiency in Python is a must with familiarity with its data structures and object-oriented programming features, best practices, logging and debugging
Experience in working with both SQL (like MS SQL) and NoSQL (like DynamoDB) databases
Familiarity with CI/CD, and practical experience with GitHub and Bamboo is a plus
Strong understanding of security: authentication and authorization frameworks like OAuth and Auth0
Fluency in both written and spoken English (B2)
