" Coming from business company background, I have been told a lot that Government Agency is the worst, as there are too much bureaucracy bs to handle. I guess that's depending on which agencies you are joining, and whether if you are on-site, but this does not happen in GovTech GDS. [Culture] Bosses believe in flat hierarchy here and willing to listen to feedback and interact with us a lot. [Work Life] There is no 9-5 or OT, If you can deliver, you can do it in ur own pace, which to me it's good as my brain is usually active at night and I cant wake up at 8am like normies. [Engineering Practices] Tech leads are pushing us to use latest tech with best practices, i got chances to learn a lot with my role and has access to stuffs i need.
